This speech was given to the Arbutus Rotary Club on January 4, 2008. I have given this speech several times to various groups over the past year.

I have posted it here because it says just about everything I want to say on this subject in a short format.
Everyone is looking for a “silver bullet,” the magic pill or piece of legislation that will make the costs and heartaches of addictions evaporate.
Moving away from addictions can only be accomplished through hard work.
